During the days May 11 to 15 the trade fair BTA "Barcelona Food Technology" has been held in Barcelona (Spain) where Metalquimia and Icnita have presented the new company IDFOOD AUTOMATION fruit of the strategic collaboration between the two companies and born with the Mission of providing added-value solutions by means of RFID electronic identification in the global meat and fish sectors.
The new company IDFOOD AUTOMATION has been very well received by the various players in the Catalan and Spanish meat sector, since it represents an unprecedented wager that may generate a multitude of new possibilities for improving competitivity of the international meat industry.
IDFOOD AUTOMATION has been considered by the sector's experts to be one of the greatest revolutions introduced at the BTA fair (2009 edition).
